Foresighting Forum 2020: Publications and resources

Energy Consumers Australia
Events

The theme of Foresighting Forum 2020 was Take charge – a consumer vision for future energy services. The forum hosted in Sydney in February brought together consumer advocates, government and industry to discuss and explore how to deliver the energy services that consumers say they want.

The forum generated a vast amount of content rich material. In the spirit of knowledge sharing, we have made it available as an online resource for the benefit of stakeholders working in the energy sector.

Foresighting Forum 2020 featured industry leaders and experts from across Australia and overseas. Watch any of the sessions on the playlist below.

Scenario materials

On Day 2 we discussed what the world might look like in 2050 and how we can manage the energy transition in line with consumer expectations.

Participants were encouraged to reflect on these scenarios at a deeper level by independently viewing the videos in the 'scenario room'.

These scenarios are discussed in The possibilities of tomorrow — heat, light and power in 2050. You can watch the video above.
