Enabling Distributed Energy in Electricity Networks was a project by Renew aiming to demonstrate the value of a consumer voice in network decision-making, and how it adds systemic value by ensuring consumers are at the heart of regulatory and program development.
The project generated constructive and productive relationships with energy distributors and market bodies, and pointed the way to maximise the benefit of distributed energy in electricity networks for consumers. It also helped position Renew as an authoritative and expert voice with its approach to building consensus.
